Why there are no Saints anymore...?

"When the workmen were busy with the building [of the new convent St. Teresa of Avila has founded - ed. note], a nephew of the Saint, the child of her sister and Don Juan de Ovalle,

was struck by some failing stones and killed.

The workmen took the child to his mother: and the Saint, then in the house of Doña Guiomar

de Ulloa, was sent for. Doña Guiomar took the dead boy into her arms, gave him to the Saint,

saying that it was a grievous blow to the father and mother, and that she must obtain

his life from God.

The Saint took the body, and, laying it in her lap, ordered those around her to cease

their lamentations, of whom her sister was naturally the loudest, and be silent.

Then, covering her face and her body with her veil, she prayed to God,

and God gave the child his life again.

The little boy soon after ran up to his aunt and thanked her for what she had done.

In after-years the child used to say to the Saint that, as she had deprived him of the bliss

of heaven by bringing him back to life, she was bound to see that he did not suffer loss.

Don Gonzalo died three years after St. Teresa when he was twenty-eight years of age.

Let us begin...

Everything created, including time, has the beginning and the end. So also we, as God's creation, have the beginning - our birth [which begins at conception], and our end [of our bodily life, for our immortal soul, with the mark of divinity given to it by the Maker, cannot die].

And so it is up to us, with the help of God, to do all we can to defend this immortal soul from

being destroyed by the darkness of sin and thus, when no more time is given to it by God because

of its obstinacy to repent for example, such damaged soul, when the body dies and is separated

from it, is then [objectively speaking] by the judgment of God lost in Hell forever.

In certain times, as the humanity "progressed" [means it was subdued in its major part by the devil into believing that all we do is of ourselves, of our own power and human ingenuity - without God's help and necessary supernatural grace], there came the thought of liberating itself from the divinely set ways, and as the time progressed, with all the steps leading to it, the ultimate and unsurpassable horror of communism was introduced.

The mankind, clearly so, has led itself into it, without even recognizing what kind of satanic slavery this is - like there was never any redemption for the original sin of Adam, like there was never our Lord's true One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and the Faith guarded by Her, like there was no help from God over and over, even to those who resigned themselves to "sin boldly" [as their "father" and arch-heretic Luther claimed], no, it is evident that as the history of mankind came to

this stage of decay, there is no way out of it only through horrible chastisement and punishment of sin, and of those who habitually live in it.

In our time, which is the most evil in the history of the world, the separation of the human conduct from the humble understanding that nothing of ourselves cannot exist nor be done without God,

we have now the opportunity to examine whether there are also such people who would be genuinely called Saints, by the grace of God so, and in the truly supernatural meaning of the word.

Setting aside the plain truth how the world has "progressed" towards its own destruction, when

the clear sign of embracement of human pleasures and other weaknesses is detected, when the accustomed Godly [Catholic] customs of the past are rejected and new ideas sweep the field of life, the vineyard itself will not produce anything of value because such cockle of hedonism is chocking

the plant and making it more and more infertile.

But, some would imply, why do I bother you with this and why not being content with what [little] we have and be grateful ? Yes, we certainly should and must be grateful to God for all we have, but we must also reject what is not of God, which is all the earthly pleasures, the extreme care of our bodies [and anything not of God], and use all necessary good means to glorify God and His Holy Name the more, because without God and His grace we can do absolutely nothing.

I should be specific, and so I'll be.

When the Russian communist scourge comes, this is firstly for very serious reason which should

be evident to people who read this and have the understanding given to them.

But also, when we talk about the upcoming world-wide Russian led communist slavery, many

will not consider whether the Church itself, with all the attacks on Her, will be protected and

spared most of this chastisement, or whether we are to expect more than we can bear...

Well, firstly, we have to have trust in God and His ultimate infinite goodness. But that only comes when we don't reject God's help and what He commands, for, as our Lord says, who will not heed even the very least of these commandments will be guilty.

This is very serious situation for us, because as the flock of Christ, we have not only the opportunity to prove to God our love for Him [with our charitable deeds done for Him and our neighbor], which gift of love was given to us by God Himself [because without this gift implanted in our immortal souls we wouldn't be capable of loving God], but this gift is so precious and so valuable, that to forsake it without our protecting it with all might and with all we got, we would openly tell God that this gift of Faith and gift of love is not as it is - well, that it is given to us because we believe,

as a sort of reward already, and then, some would imply [because of their already progressed

decay of thought which leads to inaction when acts of love for God are the proof of the fruits such love should and would produce] yes, then such soiled souls would claim that all we are to do is to

do our duty of state and that this is enough, and that nothing extra needs to be contemplated and

done, because this is all God wants us to do and we are to follow just that, and no need of more good works for God is necessary to our salvation.

But this is not so exactly. Certainly, in normal times, the soul is led by God, through the good dispositions divinely given to it, with the cooperation of the soul's merits and works for God,

yes, then in such times there have been Saints and holy souls who got the reward of salvation because their holy works were pleasing to God and much meritorious. 

But we don't live in such times, when Catholic Faith was the only one practiced in the Christian world, no, today this true Faith is almost gone from the face of the earth and we are made sad witnesses of this satanic evil done, and that's why the upcoming Russian organized and led communist slavery is coming, and so the more of our acts of love [our deeds for God, not our

human feelings of "love"] also should be done and with more vigor and diligence, with more

fervor and us setting aside our human laziness, with more and more genuine love, asking God

for the grace we need to perform all this for Him and for the Church, for otherwise, as we bear no comparison to those who lived in the past times, who were truly saintly and holy people [and compared to us, who call ourselves faithful, they were truly faithful to God and rejected all that

was not of God], we will of our own fault forbear the Catholic Faith and our generation will be

put to eternal shame if not repentant of it and amended in time.

Now, I was to be specific and so I'll be - it is evident on any given Sunday at Mass in church. The more God opens the eyes and ears, the more people would be aware of such horrible decay, but those who have already shut their souls to God's graces, which in itself is a terrible crime against God, they got so accustomed to conduct themselves in such evil way that they don't see anything wrong with it - and when approached and told about Russian communism coming, these poor souls don't receive the necessary grace from God [because of their already disobedience and laziness to perform for Him], and so they just want to hear "the news" and be "entertained", some get scared and don't wish to perform the more, because they think God will do it all for them as they've been praying to Him already for many years for favors [many of them truly repugnant to God], and such souls don't ask God for the crosses nor they wish to receive them, because they are scared to carry them, and such souls are told and taught by the enemy that it is O.K. to be sufficient where we are and no more, yes, and this evil is today presented to God as the "faith" and therefore, when the time of real trouble comes [which is just around the corner], these darkened and thus blinded souls will again do only what they are accustomed to do - pray for deliverance without realizing that God wishes to give them all the help necessary only if they would do at least the minimum and protect the immortal soul they have, which is God's property, with all strength and force they have.

But such souls, when the time comes, will only decide what is more or less convenient, they are

not accustomed nor willing to sacrifice themselves [nor most of what they have as the means] for

the defense of God's honor and for defense of His Church against this Russian communist scourge,

and thus crippled already before the Holy War begins, they openly say to God that there is no

need for them to become saintly in their works, and that they will stick to what they choose and

have regarded for years as sufficient, which is nothing more than a serious copout and total lack

of faith and trust in God's help when the time comes for it.

When in church at Mass, you can also see such people not dressed up to the holy solemn occasion, they come as if they were going to work [some in jeans and leather or otherwise painted with

signs jackets etc.], parents bring toys for their undisciplined and spoiled children to play with

[at Mass !!!], and when the brats cry [on purpose to get their parents attention], the only discipline shown  performed by such parents is that the child is told to be quiet [extremely politely and without substantial result as the brat does it again and again soon after], and many other examples of disregard for the holy place and celebration of the divine mysteries during the Holy Sacrifice of

the Mass.

This is why, when the time comes [which is soon], such blinded souls will be totally unable to perform for God the works that need to be done [through our true and genuine love for Him],

and when such time comes and people are forced to run for the woods and stay there because of

the communist persecution, we can clearly imagine as such undisciplined people will cause their

own destruction and capture because they can't even control their own children, so let us imagine

a group of such so called faithful, who are hiding from the communists in the wilderness, totally unprepared to resist, without protection gear, food, warm clothing and necessary resolve not to

give up, and so the Russian soldiers and their cohorts are searching for them, disregarding the already omitted necessary preparations for such time of war by such souls, one little cry of such child and the whole group is captured, families separated, children taken away from their mothers and brought to various Russian "re-education" camps situated mostly in the "friendly scenery"

of Siberia, without God and without the Church as such.

I have pictured this horror every time I see such undisciplined people in church, every such time

I imagine them hiding from the communists and their own such worldly lazy customs betraying

them, and there are some, no doubt about that, who would then dare to blame God for not protecting them and letting them getting caught by the communists and brought to such Russian atheistic satanic camps - and many will ask why has this happened to us, what have we done to deserve this ?

And they don't realize that it is their own evil conduct done to God that brought them into this predicament, that God was calling them over and over but they wouldn't hear it, because they have accepted lies and communist propaganda and deception over the years, and they have not loved and did not want to uphold the truth and justice, and thus, the true Faith, which they don't practice nor hold dear, is not in them, and they are given to the enemy instead.

Many souls will be lost this way, many souls.

This is why, when such people are approached and told that Russian communism is not dead and will strike soon, and that we are to defend the honor of God and the Holy Mother Church in Holy Crusade, fully armed and ready for it in advance, yes, such blinded souls don't believe it or, which is far worse, they don't think that they need to do anything and that when they pray to God [to do it for them], they will receive it all - because, after all, they are His flock, right ?, and so, this tragedy will show their true nature as they truly are and what is in them, and most of all, how much they love our Lord, which in their apathy and indifferent or [non-existent] deeds they rather deny Him.

Many are lovers of themselves instead of loving our Lord and the Church through their deeds,

first and foremost, and they don't even know it, and some don't even care. There are also many enemies among us who are doing their utmost to destroy the Church and eradicate in full the

true Catholic Apostolic Faith still left in us. Such and such will do the most evil, as they have

done already in secret over the years, when the time of Russian communist enslavement comes,

and they must be brought to justice for it [if not by us, as some may escape (temporarily that is), then God will truly punish them for such evil at the end....].

So, since we speak about Saints, I'd like to offer some quotes from one, St. Teresa of Avila,

who wrote it in her autobiography book "Life" [translated by David Lewis, edited by the

very Rev. Benedict Zimmerman, O.C.D., published by Thomas Baker, London, U.K. 1911]:

[Page 331-332]

 

"They are strong with a double strength who are resolved to risk thousand lives for God, and who long for an opportunity of losing them.

 

They are like soldiers who, to acquire booty, and therewith enrich themselves, wish for war, knowing well that they cannot become rich without it. This is their work - to suffer.

----

".......if anybody is attached to any one thing, that is a proof that he sets some value upon it, it is painful to be compelled to give it up. In that case, everything is imperfect and lost.

 

.........he who follows what is lost, is lost himself; and what greater loss, what greater blindness, what greater calamity, can there be than making much of that which is

nothing ?

Our Lord also appeared to St. Teresa and assured her that [pg. 338]:

"...whosoever served Him would never be in want of the necessary means of living..."

This is where today the "new teachings" depart from this truth, where such evil is pushed on us through the virtue of obedience, which in this case is no virtue at all, as we are to obey God before any man, and this is where our Lord is mocked openly with such proclaimed and taught de facto distrust of divine goodness and mercy, only to bring about the ultimate fall of those who listen

and follow such evil themselves - and these, I'm afraid, are very many.

St. Teresa also wrote the following [pg. 350-351]:

"O my God, how wretched is this life ! No joy is lasting; everything is liable to change. Only a moment ago, I do not think I would have exchanged my joy with any man upon earth; and the very grounds of that joy so tormented me now, that I knew not what to do with myself.

 

Oh, if we did but consider carefully the events of our life, every one of us would learn from experience how little we ought to make either of its pleasures or of its pains !

 

Certainly this was, I believe, one of the most distressing moments I ever passed in all my life; my spirit seemed to forecast the great sufferings in store for me, though they never were so heavy as this was, if it had continued.

 

But our Lord would not let His poor servant suffer, for in all my troubles He never failed to succor me; so it was now. He gave me a little light, so that I might see it was the work of the devil, and might understand the truth, namely, that it was nothing else but an attempt on his part to frighten me with lies.

 

So I began to call to mind the great resolutions to serve our Lord, and my desire to suffer for His sake; and I thought that if I carried them out, I must not seek to be at rest; that if

I had my trials, they would be meritorious; and that if I had my troubles, and endured them in order to please God, it would serve me for purgatory.

 

What was I, then, afraid of ? If I longed for tribulations, I had them now; and my gain lay in the greatest opposition. Why then, did I fail in courage to serve one to whom I owed so much ?"

"In the extremity of my trouble, our Lord said to me:

'Knowest thou not that I am the Almighty ?

what art thou afraid of ?"

You would think that this is enough to convince people to raise up their Holy War standard high and to prepare to fight this battle to the fullest, but no, no such people this author have met yet.

And this kind of sad situation have been also the thing of the past history, for it is recorded by

His Holiness Pope Pius XI, who wrote the following in his encyclical Firmissimam Constantiam

on the religious situation in Mexico ["No Es Muy Conocida" - ed. note - "You Are not Recognized

(or known)" - the Church] wrote the following [taken from the book 'Social Wellsprings",

Imprimatur Moses E. Kiley, Archbishop of Milwaukee, The Bruce Publishing Company,

1942, pg. 376]:

Unfortunately the enemies of God and Christ have succeeded in overcoming many lukewarm and timid souls who, though still adoring God in the intimacy of their conscience, yet cooperate materially at least in the de-Christianization of a people whose most numerous and illustrious glories are owing to their Christian religion.

And to this action they are driven through human respect or the fear of temporal evils....

 

In contrast to these apostasies and weaknesses, which afflict Us profoundly, We regard as all the more praiseworthy and meritorious the resistance to evil, the perseverance in the Christian life, and the frank profession of their faith practiced by such great numbers of the faithful.

But we can talk and talk, and such souls will still remain blinded to the truth and they even

[some at least subconsciously] consider what they already have as granted, and that as long

[but how long ?] they are in the state of grace [and how they know they are in it for sure?] they

have no need of doing extra for God and can easily disregard any such warnings, because [as

the Protestants also believe], subconsciously they think that they have it already good and safe,

the church and the true Mass are where they live, they have the priests there [who don't say

anything as this author, a layman, says, and only tell them to pray more and do penance] and therefore on their minds is not the truth that they are to be ready to fight this holy battle, and then....the time comes when all this will be revealed to them and they will lament openly their misfortune and nobody will hear them....

St. Teresa of Avila made it plain in her writings, let us quote little more of it:

[Pg. 402]

".....it seemed to me as if our Lord were sorry for us who live in the world. Moreover,

He bade me not to suppose that He had forgotten me; He would never abandon me,

but it was necessary I should do all that I could myself..."

The manifold contrast to this truth is apparent when we compare this with the words

of present time churchmen, who say:

"Let us remain in our place, where the will of Christ has put us, trusting in His grace.........We must not count upon our own forces...."   -----  "Even more, some propose infallible means to get through the times of persecution without suffering any evil...."

".....Christianity is not found in a sterile search for strange practices [!!!!!!] whose only

goal is to spare us suffering. Where would we be if the martyrs had not shed their

blood ?--- "[God]...invites His children to participate in His sufferings in peace......"

"When these things begin to happen, raise your heads, because your liberation is

at hand."

What a manifold difference ! And then such voices also claim that reason, our totally imperfect human reason must always guide our steps, specially when the teaching of the Holy Mother Church is set aside and or completely disregarded by such enemy voices, forgetting of course that with the grace of God all human reason is put to shame, and we are able to do anything for God and His glory, and thus our love for our Lord is made perfect.

St. Teresa says this herself:

[Pg. 342-343]

 

"Oh my Lord ! how Thou dost show Thy power ! There is no need to seek reasons

of Thy will; for with Thee, against all natural reason, all things are possible; so that

Thou teachest clearly there is no need of anything but of loving Thee in earnest, and really giving up everything for Thee, in order that Thou, O my Lord, mightest make everything easy.

 

It is well said that Thou feignest to make Thy law difficult: I do not see it, nor do I feel that the way that leadeth unto Thee is narrow. I see it as a royal road, and not a pathway; a road upon which whosoever really enters, travels most securely."

In St. Teresa's "Relations" [part of the book "Life" - translated by David Lewis, edited by the very

Rev. Benedict Zimmerman, O.C.D., published by Thomas Baker, London, U.K. 1911] St. Teresa wrote:

"....and I heard Him say also: "Labour thou not to hold Me within thyself enclosed, but enclose thyself within Me." [This happened on June 30, 1571, Medina del Campo, Spain].

A few days after this, thinking whether they were right who disapproved of my going out to make new foundations, and whether it would not be better for me if I occupied myself always with prayer, I heard this:

"During this life, the true gain consists not in striving after greater joy in Me, but in doing

My will."

Conclusion

Dear brothers and sisters in Faith !

I have done [almost] all I could, and yet this is absolutely nothing, and only my status as unprofitable servant has been confirmed by such failures of mine. Yet, with good conscience

I can claim that at least I tried to warn you about what is coming soon, the rest is up to God

and what you will do for Him.

However, I strongly encourage you to lay aside all natural reason [specially when you blindly consider that nothing more than prayer and penance can be done against Russian communism],

and put your trust in the Lord. This is where the victory is for you, this is where the reward is

and will be.

If you don't trust God that He will help you to carry out this armed resistance against the Satan

and his Russian led communist servants, you will lead yourselves into captivity and your soul, while you accepted that it will be submitted into this occasion of sin, to be possibly stripped of its eternal value, you have thus mocked our Lord and doubted His goodness and power, specially by

rejecting the teaching of the Holy Mother Church in regards to such times, and therefore,

you have rejected God Himself.
 

Russian led communism is the devil's last chance to destroy your immortal souls - let him not do this evil to you, resist it with all you can do and God will supply the rest. But if you up front say

no, and plan to do absolutely nothing yourselves, you will learn the hard way and many of you

the eternal [infernal] way.
 

May God grant you the necessary grace [after you by yourselves fully give up the world and its

vain pleasures], and may He, through the most loving care and help of our Blessed Mother

and Heavenly Queen Mary, guide you to serve Him in fullness of His help to you,

to fulfill the task that our Lord imposes on you.
